Miss Kirsty teaches on a Tuesday night at the Shrewsbury United Reformed Church. She teaches our Ballet & Boogie Improvers right through to Grade 5 ballet with all abilities for Tap and Freestyle thrown into the mix too!
Kirsty started dancing at the age of 3 at her local dance school in London, where she took exams under the NATD syllabus and performed in regular shows and local theatre productions. At 18 she went on to study at Bird College, graduating with a BA Hons in Dance and Musical Theatre.
Her career has since taken her around the world, from cruise ships with P&O Cruises, working as a dancer in Macau China, National tours in the UK, performing in pantomimes and Christmas shows and as company manager for a 5* Resort in Halkidiki Greece.
Kirsty then turned to teaching when she was expecting her little boy Oscar, and she knew she wanted to continue working with her love for dance. Teaching gave her the opportunity to work in an area she was very passionate about and pass on her knowledge and experience . Kirsty still performs when she can, between her work, and taking care of Oscar. Her passion for performing continues and she hopes to keep going!

BEST DANCING MEMORY
Performing in my last show on my last full time professional contract in Greece ‘Musicals’. Was an amazing feeling, going out on a high note, dancing alongside my partner Andy and with Oscar in my tummy!
