ADULT dance CLASSES
Dance classes are so much fun no matter what age you are - why should our younger Footlighters have all the fun!
Our Adult Ballet & Tap classes are students age 18 - 99 and catered to all abilities.
Learn and expand on Ballet & Tap technique while learning a new dance each half term. Great for socialising, keeping active, engaging the brain and generally just having a good giggle.
Classes cost £7 per week and are payable in advance for each half term.
You can view our current timetable below and book and pay for a 3 week trial for £21 below.
We hope to welcome you to a dance class very soon!
DANCE EXAMS AND PERFORMANCES
We like to give our Adult dancers opportunities to take dance exams too. We find taking a dance exam creates a feeling of accomplishment and pride as well as allowing each dancer to notice their progression with learning new skills.
These are absolutely optional and no pressure at all - just something nice to aim for. Plus you get a certificate and a trophy to show off too!
Who doesn't love their chance to shine! Our Adult Dancers have been performing as part of our dance shows for years. The younger Footlighters love seeing our adults dancing on stage and are so supportive and nothing bonds a group like standing in the wings feeling terrified together!
Dancing on the main stage at Theatre Severn is not for everyone, and there is no obligation to take part at all - however, it really is a fabulous experience and one for the bucket list!
PAID 3 WEEK TRIAL
We appreciate that it is always best to try something out before signing up in full, so we offer a paid 3 week trial to all our new students. A three week trial offers you the chance to get to know what life is like at Footlights before commiting to a half term of dance.
After the third trial session you will be sent an invoice for the remainder of the term and payment of this invoice secures your place at our classes.
We hope to see you at one of our dance classes soon!
