Miss Rachel taught at Footlights for many years but in 2018 decided to put teaching on hold so that she could dance professionally full time. She now travels around the world living her dream but when she is back home she pops in to ballet class to make sure everyone is working hard!
Dance has been with Rachel since she was young but when she was around 11 year old she was anaemic and quite underweight so the doctor told her mum to put her in dance classes to build up her endurance and she found her passion. "I originally just wanted to do jazz but my teacher made me do ballet for strength and I’m so glad she did, as ballet is now my favourite genre ( also why I really believe everyone should do ballet!)".

She has traveled lots with dance and tours the U.K. with a few different dance companies but she loves teaching and helping others achieve. She is a fully qualified teacher with the I.S.T.D in the Modern Theatre and Imperial Classical Ballet faculties. "I’m a real believer in hard work being the driving force in dance and that anyone can achieve anything with a little elbow grease. I’m passionate about developing good strong technique at a young age that will benefit your dancing for years to come."
